Evergreen in mild areas (zone 9), deciduous elsewhere.
Hardy in zone 7 (-17C).
A beautiful fern with downy, fresh green fronds. A very cosmopolitan species found throughout the tropics and subtropics. I mild areas makes a great groundcover. It is much slower to spread in zone 8 and 7 gardens. Great in containers.
