This is a beautiful compact grass with superb blue colour. It grows to about 10cm in height and is beautiful in containers. The seeds are very attrractive, blue green when fresh and a red brown when dried. This adds an extra dimension to any planting scheme.
IIt is not really a shade loving plant, indeed the most vibrant colour is when it is grown in full sun, but the shades, though not as vivid, still work with other plants in partial shade. Included for its value in container mixed planting.
