These tough plants hail from the semi deserts And dry lands of Mexico and Central America They are temperature hardy but will not survive winter wet so it is best to bring them under cover over winter. They like a gritty compost and grow best, as well as loooking very classy, in unglazed terracotta pots. They survive in small amounts of soil so tiny pots will suit these young tiny plants! They like lots of light, just be wary of keeping them in a glass container in direct sun...... they will probably cook!
